The Brits didn’t join the euro as it was set up to fail from the start. Now it’s teetering on the brink, Brit banks are I suspect shorting the shit out of it as we speak, and will continue to do so. A bit like the ERM thing in the 90s with the Deutchmark, when Lawson (no it wasn’t Lawson it was the guy with the eyebrows, Lamont) was shoring up the pound, but in reverse. Paybacks a bitch!!
