I understand this video. I just hate when people ridicule history making global change. I understand his POV that one can’t simply violate the rules of this reality. Social change requires violation of the rules of reality. Otherwise social change would never happen. The freedoms that we enjoy today are made possible by people that were willing to violate the rules of reality to make it better. This is why social change throughout history were never a smooth transition. Massive resistance were encountered by those who benefit from their current social system. My frustration is when a person, for example , in the last minute of the video talk about novel ideas in a condescending tone without giving any input of how society can change. Its hard to accept ideas that has been ingrained in our finds since our childhood. That is why he and many others can’t accept radical ideas even if it logically makes sense. It is frustrating that some people, regardless if they are affluent or not, continue to blindly support the system that has allowed the wealthy to stay rich. And the wealthy are loving it. It is mind-blowing to me how 1% of the population can hold nearly half of the worlds entire wealth. How can billionaires sleep and live their lives knowing that the wealth they make makes billions of people live in poverty? All of human suffering is preventable. In this reality, it’s not profitable to save them. We live in a sick world. If we continue to live in this reality, the human race is surely doomed. For the sake of all our descendants we have to make changes now so they can live in a better future.
